The first one seems to have a pretty nice spec but I'm not sure if an intel graphics card will run the game.
That said no mobile cards have been officially listed as supported so it's not possible to say for definite.
I think either of the second two should be able to run it, but it's not officially supported on any of those laptop graphics cards so it may not.
I'd suggest trying a post on Freddyshouse as there might be people in beta running on similar laptops already.

no worries happens to us all now and again.
Hmm yeah everything but the radeon is listed, although:
Then it comes down to:
4GB ram + Intel card + T5750 processor
vs
3GB ram + Geforce + T8100 processor.
This seems to suggest the Geforce card is slightly better:

Though it mentions about drivers making it perform better...
I'd go with option 3 - the geforce one - as it's got a bigger hard drive

(from here)Laptop versions of these chipsets may work, but may run comparatively slowly.

Maybe I'm going daft but I don't see the HD3200 on here at all? (or even the 3200, just 3650/3850/3870)

That said if it's a recent enough card it's probably fine, just no guarantees.
Both the other two should run it fine though.

i dont know its a laptop version of the "intel gma of some kind" but i ask the guy in shop if the GF or this was better he said the geforce was better but not by much so i ask which would be best for playing games and he said this one i got was and it was the cheaper of the two. he sed ill shoud be able to play the game of med settings with a little bit of lag when i go into new areas and stuff which havent been discovered so i think i made the right choice. but i can tell you that its a TOSHIBA SATELLITE with 384mb graphics they are not dedicated. but i also chose this one as well as it came if works for my education aswell. if the worst come to the worst ill just run war on low settings then i doubt ill have any lag at all. wouldnt bother me much though just wanna have a laugh on the game. BRING ON THE WAAARRRGGHH
dont know if this helps but WAR runs well on low settings on my wife`s laptop which has a GF6010 gfx chip.
also has 2gb ram an amd64x2 2000 cpu and winxp.

try that link on your new laptop and see what it says when you test for WAR.
the results from that site arent 100% right but you will get an idea of whether your machine is up to the job or not.

The reason that the laptop versions of the cards are not supported is that they are not the same cards really.
Although they name them with similar numbers they run at a much slower speed and they have far less power to access (as they need to run off a battery and to be cool enough to not melt your small enclosure). Therefore to be aware that anything in a laptop will be A LOT slower than the respective desktop.
On the other hand, for these same reasons, next to no games these days officially support laptop cards yet most will run them ok. The Min specs for WAR are quite low (compaired to most FPS games for example) and so I should think you will be fine.
One last point, the 32 bit version of Windows VISTA (Which is the only version that will run WAR) can only handle 3.2GB of RAM, so the one with 4GB is a waste. Just something to keep in mind. (The 64bit version of VISTA can access up to 8GB of RAM however it has a lot of compatability issues).
Hope that helps

Wrong. 4GB of RAM arranged as 4 x 1GB sticks in the right motherboard will allow you to achieve the 3.2GB RAM in dual-channel mode. It's also a future proofing method should you decide to upgrade to a 64-bit OS in the future.Naetharu wrote:One last point, the 32 bit version of Windows VISTA (Which is the only version that will run WAR) can only handle 3.2GB of RAM, so the one with 4GB is a waste.
