Just spent a night in New York and got a Hilton hotel for less than 1/2 price - used it before and had what was the Hilton in Edingburgh for 50 quid a night (on a american keyboard - cant find a pund sign ) Had a couple of cracking deals, most of you might already have heard of it but for those who havent check out www.priceline.co.uk - tis great

which hilton did you stay in evz?
when i went there to celebrate my 21st i stayed in the 1 on avenue of america's, although ddin't ahve to pay anything because my father has one of those handy dandy diamond hilton cards and loads of points so he just used a few of them up.......
it was a gr8 position, round the corner from times square and central park
I love NY, would quite easily go and live there

Sorry dude - missed the Q before about hotels - I stayed this time at the one on 42nd St just off Times Sq, have stayed at the one on Ave of the America's as well - this time it cost us $200 via priceline - on the Hilton site it was $450 a night, the time we stayed at Ave of America Hilton it cost us only about $140 or something daft. Both lovely hotels, great views etc..
